Complete Online Training

Peak Performance Fundraising is a step-by-step guide that covers all aspects of relationship-based major gifts fundraising. What makes this course unique is that it is not passive or theoretical. As you go through individual modules you will be required to take specific actions with your donors. This is not a distraction from the work of fundraising— this is fundraising.

Stewardship Basics Setup

Stewardship Basics Setup ensures that you are doing an exceptional job of thanking and stewarding your donors. The #1 reason donors don’t make a second gift is because they don’t remember making the first gift. Our first job is to make sure that donors never forget that they gave to your organization. Then we need to make sure they know just how important

Messaging & Mini-Campaign

Summary: Telling your story, developing your value proposition, and answering the question “Why should donors give to you?” Testing our message by running a short campaign to raise a small amount of money, usually 10k-50k in 4-6 weeks. 

Outcomes: Aquire new donors, re-engage lapsed donors, upgrade existing donors, develop and test messaging and raise money.

Fundraising Calendar

Summary: Lay out the whole year in development. Make sure that no important dates or milestones are missed during the year. We will map out large efforts such as quarterly or bi-annual campaigns, block out times for travel to meet with individual donors, and ensure you have enough time in the office to make the methodical development moves before and after trips that will result in larger gifts and a better close ratio.

Development Assessments

The Comprehensive Fundraising Development Assessment is a strategic tool designed to establish a baseline understanding of an organization’s fundraising activities, strengths, and areas for improvement. Tailored specifically for your orginazation, this assessment aims to provide a holistic view of the organization’s development practices, enabling informed decision-making and targeted enhancements to fundraising strategies.

Giving Framework

Set up giving levels and giving clubs. This will include monthly, annual, and legacy giving levels. We will focus on how to convert one-time donors into recurring donors either with a second gift or by converting them to a monthly donor. We will also look at how to set up and train regional staff to do basic stewardship and donor outreach. This will keep relationships with large donors fresh and viable.

Learn to build meaningful connections, tailor your pitch, and ask for support confidently. Learn how to plan for and script your meetings. Learn how to identify strategic questions and the best possible and minimum acceptable outcomes for each meeting. We will go over how to prepare, ask, and close gifts as well as know when is the appropriate time to ask for a gift.
